Securing Permissions for Use

  1. Bring the materials to the MBL Digital Processing Center. Provide URLs and complete citations for items already in electronic format.
  2. Complete a work order and provide us with the following information:
  • Your name
  • Nature of intended use (classroom, fundraiser, administrative meeting, etc.)
  • Account number
  • Number of copies needed
  • Dates of desired use

We will obtain permissions and process royalty payments for approved use (fees vary -- some publishers say ok, others charge small or high fees).
