The Library provides all members with support and free access to RefWorks. RefWorks is a web-based citation management system, paid for by the Library. RefWorks enables you to organize your research, include citations while you write your paper, build a bibliography in a variety of formats, import references from many data sources, and create bibliographies in different document formats (Word, RTF, HTML, etc.), among other functions. Being web-based means no software to download and update, and you can access your personal account from any computer connected to the internet. To setup your account and get started, go to http://www.refworks.com/refworks. For questions, or to setup individual or group training contact library [at] mbl [dot] edu.
Note: All alumni of subscribing academic institutions will have life-long access to RefWorks. Access will continue to be available an institution’s alumni as long as that institution subscribes. More information here, or ask a librarian.
The Library also provides support for Endnote users. Please contact library [at] mbl [dot] edu for assistance.
