E-reserves (web accessible library reserves)
If you would like to set up library e-reserves that are accessible over the Web 24/7, the Library can help. We set up password protected e-reserves sites and will seek a license to digitize items and post them to this site.
- Bring the materials to the MBL Digital Processing Center that need to be digitized; provide URLs and complete citations for items already in electronic format
- Complete a work order and provide us with the following information:
- Course name
- Course Director's name
- Course account number
- Number of students in the class
- Dates of desired use
- We will obtain permissions and process royalty payments for approved use (fees vary—some publishers say ok, others charge small or high fees)
