MBLWHOI LIBRARY LIBRARY LIAISON PROGRAM IS A VALUABLE RESOURCE TO MBL AND WHOI SCIENTISTS

For many years the Library has provided personal library services to the MBL and WHOI Scientific Community.

We have now expanded our Library Liaison program beyond assisting individual scientists by dedicating and tailoring library services to individual departments, programs, and centers.

Our staff librarian liasons are well versed in providing services or directing you to the staff expert in particular services. This includes Data Management Services as described here on the MBLWHOI Library website:

• bibliographic services (e.g.: tracking down incomplete/inaccurate citations)

• unlimiited checkout of library books ability to recall checked-out items

• access to over 11,000 digital books

• WHOAS Institutional repository services

• Course reserves

• Data management:  standards, documentation, publication, and planning

   
  The Library has been a valued facilitator of interdisciplinary Woods Hole developed science for over 80 years, and we have been following the mandate to operate a library in support of Woods Hole Scientists since 1888.
