SCIENCE IS WE - MBL SUMMER 1954
Physiology Course Class Picture, Summer 1954
"The physiology course at Woods Hole initially took up all my time, with lectures in the morning followed by labs that ran through the afternoons. There were no big crescendos during the lectures on nerve cells by the modest Steve Kuffler. They were given with such good will that I could never tell him that I remained ignorant of how electrical signals move along nerve fibers."
