Jen Walton can assist with issues of library access, including access cards and desk/office rentals. See Jen for questions about circulation, renewals, or requests for new materials. Jen is the MBL contact for data management assistance and resources. Tours of the Library at MBL, instructional presentations, and course reserves can be arranged with Jen. Jen is the Library liaison for the MBL Bell Center.

Matthew Person can answer questions about the MBLWHOI Library’s book and journal collections. He manages the electronic resources, including the journal licenses. Matthew is the Library Liaison to the MBL Program in Sensory Physiology and Behavior, the MBL Marine Resources Center, and the WHOI Marine Policy Center.

John Furfey is the contact for questions or issues regarding remote access to electronic resources and the content of the Library’s website. John offers support for citation and bibliographic management and operates the systems tracking the research output of the Woods Hole scientific community. John can address questions regarding impact factors and altmetrics. John is the Library liaison to the MBL Bay Paul Center.
Resource Sharing/Cataloging Librarian

Nancy Stafford manages the resource sharing systems and provides materials from the MBLWHOI Library to libraries all over the world. She also helps to maintain and update the Library’s catalog for the main collection. Nancy is the volunteer coordinator for the Digital Herbarium project and is the liaison to the MBL Cellular Dynamics Program.

Dave Sherman is responsible for WHOI's archives and manuscript collections, including the photograph, oral history and historical instrument collections. Please contact Dave if you need assistance with locating an image, conducting research in the WHOI archives, or have materials you think would be appropriate to add to the WHOI archives.

Audrey Mickle is available to assist with organizing, managing, and sharing of research data. She can help discover data relating to WHOI vessels. She also has experience in graphic design, web design, and content management system development, including Drupal and Wordpress.

Ann Devenish can help with borrowing materials from a worldwide network of libraries. She also provides guidance on copyright, open access and persistent identifiers. Ann manages the institutional repository for the Woods Hole scientific community (WHOAS) and some specialty bibliographies. Please contact Ann for Library orientations or course reserves at WHOI or questions/requests for shipboard libraries. Ann is the Library liaison to the WHOI Geology and Geophysics and WHOI Applied Ocean Physics and Engineering departments.

Ellen Levy maintains the library’s main software systems, including the online catalog and the journals A-Z list, as well as their displays on the library website, and mobile applications. She has experience working on legacy data migration projects. Ellen also catalogs books, technical reports and other material for the Data Library and Archives.
